Founded in 2003 by Paul Brundell and wife, Nina, Allan Custom Homes is a family-owned and operated business with a passion for creating exceptional living spaces. After 20 years at Rockwell Collins, Paul decided to leave the corporate world and follow his passion — building one-of-a-kind, high-quality homes. Growing up with a father who was a general contractor, Paul leads the growing business with a steadfast commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation.
Andrew Brundell, a Kirkwood Construction Management graduate, rejoined the family business as project manager/vice president after spending just under five years growing his skills with Ryan Companies. His background in project management, concrete, carpentry, and landscaping—in both commercial and residential construction—informs his current role as Project Manager.
Alec Brundell, the oldest of Paul’s three sons, is Andrew’s right hand in the field. He lead’s Allan Custom Homes self-perform crew from ground breaking till the final punchlist item is complete.
Jack Brundell, the youngest of Paul’s sons, is a Licensed realtor in the state of Iowa. Jack is not an Allan Custom Homes employee but is still very much involved in the team’s real estate transactions and growth.
